Prudence is a highly acclaimed contemporary abstract artist whose work enjoys international recognition. With a formal education in Fine Arts from prestigious institutions in both France and Hong Kong, her creative journey began at the age of three, sparked by a profound passion for painting and early mentorship from her father. Every piece in her portfolio is deeply personal, serving as a visual narrative inspired by her own life story.
Since 2022, Prudence’s career has seen a meteoric rise. Her work has been showcased in world-renowned venues, including the Carrousel du Louvre, Porte de Versailles, and Van Gogh Gallery, spanning over 60 exhibitions across 18 countries. Her global footprint includes shows in major art hubs such as France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Caribbean Islands, Malta, Dubai, and Hong Kong.
A highlight of her 2023 season included a prestigious Solo Exhibition and VIP private viewing hosted by Simpson Marine aboard the Sanlorenzo SL 106/A, an epitome of Italian luxury yachting and bespoke design. This collaboration further cemented her status in the luxury art market, bridging the gap between fine art and a high-end lifestyle. Between 2023 and 2025, her contributions to the field were honored with several prestigious accolades, including the Universal Artist Award "Leonardo Da Vinci" and the International Award "Michelangelo – The Genius of Italy."
Prudence is celebrated for her signature "primitive" aesthetic, exploring the "textures of the soul" through a masterly manipulation of Oil, Acrylic, and Ink. Her practice is defined by a sophisticated use of Mixed Media, incorporating natural elements such as Marble Powder, Volcanic Ash, and Sand to create a visceral, tactile experience. With over 40 art publications and media interviews to her name, she is frequently sought after for bespoke commissions, where she bridges her personal journey with individual motifs to create a lasting harmony between the artist and the observer.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My work is an exploration of nature in its most primitive state, translated through a complex language of nonparallel lines and vibrant, eccentric color. Each artwork is a chapter of my life story, acting as a vessel for my experiences and the personal milestones that have shaped my vision. Rather than relying on objective depiction, I seek to remain grounded in the organic energy of the natural world, allowing my personal history to guide the flow of the composition.
Central to my practice is an obsession with the materiality of texture and the raw power of the earth. I utilize a diverse palette of Oil, Acrylic, and Ink, integrated with Mixed Media elements like marble powder, volcanic ash, and sand. These natural materials allow me to articulate the "textures of the soul," building physical layers that pulse with passion and positivity. By rendering every line free-handed with high precision, I create a delicate structure that offers a level of spatial and spiritual involvement that no camera can capture.
This philosophy of immersive art was beautifully realized during my 2023 Solo Exhibition aboard the Sanlorenzo SL 106/A luxury yacht. The setting allowed my works to exist in a discreet, high-end ambiance where the movement of the sea met the textures of the canvas, creating a unique dialogue between natural elements and contemporary aesthetics.
Ultimately, my art serves as a bridge between my lived reality and a universal spiritual search. Influenced by a lifelong bond with my father and a desire to inspire global exploration, I aim to ignite a sense of wonder in my observers. Each painting is a record of my personal language, inviting the viewer to engage with a narrative that is both deeply private and transcendently human.
